If you have not heard about it or seen for yourself, the Arkansas Lottery now has vending machines. Vending machines that require the use of ones ID in order to proceed with your purchase. You must be 18 to play the lottery and your ID is supposed to serve as proof of your age.

So with this being said I sent my 16 year old armed with my drivers license, to see if he was able to score a lottery ticket. The answer was yes, he was able to proceed and able to purchase a lottery ticket. Whose bright idea was this to install a lottery vending machine??? Now the question is, does the Lottery Commission really care who is purchasing the lottery tickets that are supposed to be funding scholarships?

Arkansas Lottery vending machine inside a Kroger grocery store in Little Rock, Arkansas

I really dont think they do care especially knowing that they did not meet their profit last quarter. The lottery is suppossedly what is currently funding the Arkansas scholarships. When you think about the largest percentage of the population that purchases tickets, the poor, it is rather a sham of an excuse to have a lottery. Now with that being said I would like to invite lawmakers to use this vending machine to find out how many people are buying lottery tickets who are on any sort of public assistence, this amount should be deducted from their benifit amount. Im sorry but if you have money to buy a lottery ticket you have money to buy your own food or pay your own rent. And to take this one step further I would introduce legislation that would use ones drivers license to see total spending on cigaretts and alcohol by welfare recipients, this would be easy to do. Maybe then we would see who really needs the assistance and who is abusing it, but thats just my two cents for the day.

Everyday I will post a fact regarding an Issue or a candidate that is in the running for the 2012 Presidential Election. I welcome comments and suggestions so read my introductory post and let the fun begin. Oh and I must remind you all that the reason I went to school to be a BROADCASTER is that I do not have the patience to be a WRITER/JOURNALIST, so pardon my current editing skills. Hopefuly they will get better, but im not making any promises.

Today I had the privilege of hearing Ron Sims, who is the Deputy Secretary for the Housing and Urban Development, aka HUD, speak at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion.

Mr Sims was appointed by Obama in 2009 and was previously the county executive of King County, Washington. First let me say he was a great speaker, very moving and motivational. He was funny and witty but yet he kept irritating me every time he would mention homeownership, the same idea that I hear regurgitated often by most liberals. The idea that in order to be stable in your life and the lives of your children, one must own a home. This is so not true! In fact to be stable in a good environment one needs a safe place to live and that can be rented.

And so im sitting there enjoying this great meal and the elegance of the Governor’s Mansion, all the while feeling like I was intruding upon the lion’s den. I so wanted to stand up and shout out “What are you doing telling people this propaganda ???!!! Why are you creating this grand illusion that everything will be better for the poor if they can help them to own their own home? Telling poor people they must own a home to better themselves is like saying you must keep up with the Jones, or you can never have a stable or safe home for your kids by renting omg, now run right out and get yourself into a Mortgage you cannot afford!!

What times are these home buying ‘pushers” living in? Like a mortgage cannot default and leave you homeless?? like we are not seeing thousands of foreclosures a day and families displaced from this crisis? So should you buy a house just to buy a house if infact it is in a bad neighborhood??? Do they realize that by pushing this ‘False positive’ that they are really making people feel inadequate if they don’t own a home?

This liberal theory goes along with Clinton’s claim in the 90′s that ”more people own a home now than ever before“. Yep and here in the current state of affairs that Clinton created with his famous “Everyone must own a home” propaganda, more people are unemployed now in our generations lifetime than ever before.

Thank you Mr Clinton and the greedy banks for the Subprime Housing Crisis that led to a 9.7% unemployment rate!! FYI the first sub-prime mortgage was done in 1993 under Clinton’s watch and ACORN’s push on the banks to offer up credit to the poor in the community with bad credit or be put on a blacklist. Then the banks got greedy and your currently witnessing and living in the end result of that liberal clusterf*$@!

But anyway back to the story, so I figured Instead of standing up and screaming out these things, I would quietly remain seated and come home and blog about it later. However I could not resist in the conversation at my table and I did slip up and let it be known that I had infiltrated the liberal camp, or so it had seemed.

There were 3 gentlemen high up with HUD sitting at my table and they were all looking at me like how dare I. Yes, how dare I sit on the city housing board when I was clearly the only one there that wasnt liberal and only liberals care about poor people (by the way this is sarcasm)…how dare I sit there and say that I am glad that I was poor as a child and how dare I say that I am lucky to have had that experience to make me the determined person that I am today! We should never be PROUD of growing up poor and saying it happily outloud! (again with the sarcasm) How dare I disagree with section 8 housing needing to have hardwood flooring and new appliances in every unit as they currently are updating them to! The hud housing I knew as a kid had hardwood floors all right, concrete floors!!!

Their argument was that well poor people want these nice things as well as you do. I looked at them and said “well you know what if you give them everything they need what reason will they have to ever be anything better? How many more people could have a plain old roof over their head with the money you think needs to spent to give them hardwood flooring in a housing project. What is their incentive to ever better themselves and get out of that life???”

One HUD rep told me she had a person that has been on housing assistance since 1980, that is 31 years on public housing, she said, when they got on the program she was a younger person, so it is not senior housing. Well why would anyone ever need to leave, they are comfortable without any effort and that is just ridiculous! And I am sure to get the old “you’re a cold-hearted bitch” label, but im really not.

We have got to start finding better innovative ways to reallocate how we spend taxpayers money to maximize the return. What I mean by this is to help more people with the same amount of money by NOT creating luxury housing projects , its out of control people I tell you stand up and pay attention what is going on in these types of programs. Now do know that I do understand that not all housing is luxury but you know what, if its bad then you either stay there and do nothing with your life or you fight to get out which helps you grow as a person and gives you drive.

Now back to the whole Owning a home is the American Dream.

For 4 years after college I was a loan officer in the Mortgage dept and let me just tell you how ironic that was because I for one have never owned a home, nor do I WANT to own a home right now. I consider myself a gypsy and move around a lot but that is by choice because I get bored with my surroundings. I also do not think people understand how much responsibility owning a home is. It is a lot more than just paying the rent let me tell you. I do not think it is right to tell people who the key to the american dream is to buy a house. Telling someone they cannot be just like everyone else unless they BUY something is just horrible and wrong. But then again this is just my opinion.

On another note, I wonder if everyone who attended todays luncheon, was aware that all of the catering was done by Prisoners who are brought to the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion to work functions such as this? I think it is a great idea, but not at first as I tend to see things others do not sometimes.

So there I was steaming mad during Deputy Secretary Sims Presentation, because at one point just as the word discrimination came out of his mouth and landed upon my ears I looked around the room and ALL of the wait staff were male, so of course me being me, I asked Governor Beebe’s assistant why they were all male and she told me that they were brought in from the local Prison to do the work. Well then I guess I am ok with free labor as at least tax payers were not on the hook and it wasnt a gender discrimination issue anymore. Well hey, you all know me by now, i had to at least ask.

That any normal reasonable person can blame Sarah Palin for this horrible incident is insane thinking. Jared Lee Loughner was a young man who had been turned off by Giffords as far back as 2007, when he attended a rally held by Giffords. This has nothing to do with Palin!

What happened to the theory that our country was built on, innocent until proven guilty? Facts first then accusations? Immediatly people point the finger to Palin when the facts on Loughner and his motive had yet to be presented for disection.

Those who rant as such should loose all credibility and take a step back and look at the real facts now. And though I am not a Palin supporter, I am a supporter of facts. Those of you who hate her will only become more furious in the days to come when her supporters come out of the woodwork with facts making you look ridiculous in your accusations. Best to man/woman up and write that retraction now to at least loosing ALL credibility.

This has become a witch hunt, you people need to seek therapy and dont come back to the debate table until you do as anyone who spews this nonsense has lost all credibility in my opinion.

Accorning the the article below, Gifford offended Loughner at a 2007 rally.

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2011/01/10/associated-press-giffords-shooter-believed-us-government-was-behind-911

Not only does this article speak of his discontent with Giffords, but also of his dicontent with the previous Bush administration, believing that the government was behind the 9/11 terror attack onthe United States. One friend has now come out and stated that Loughner was in fact a Liberal.

My Thought for the day is a Quote form Justice Cardozo:
“Those who purport to care about the health of our political community demonstrate precious little actual concern for America’s political well-being when they seize on any pretext, however flimsy, to call their political opponents accomplices to murder.”

In the following link the author is trying to tell you that if the proverbial ”he” has not asked you to marry him then it cannot simply be because “he is just not that in to you?” You will however do, until he comes across the proverbial “she”. The author is in denial.

If a man knows that he wants to spend the rest of his life with someone and if she is the one, he will marry her. You ladies following the authors advice will be the ones that fill the void until he does finaly find the one. And by the “ONE”, I mean, the one that makes him wonder why she isnt talking about marrying him. Do yourselves a favor and move on to a better relationship, even if its just with your cat, dog or god forbid yourself…lol

By Valerie Emmons

It Seems Capitol Hill still thinks the American People Are STUPID when it comes to this healthcare bill. This is a review of the study that was released on January 8th 2010 by the Center for American Progress. The Study called New Jobs through Better Healthcare, is being backed it seems by Representatives Waxman, Rangel and Miller.

(See that release here http://edlabor.house.gov/newsroom/2010/01/new-report-shows-health-reform.shtml )

This study is supposed to prove that Healthcare is going to create jobs but in picking it apart I was astonished that these people even know how to do a study. Either that or they think that the American people are that dumb. This study is bogus first of all because as they would like you to believe they are not a bipartisan or neutral organization. All one has to do is to read the stories posted on their website to see whose side they are on.

The study you can find here: Print it out and follow along with my rant! http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2010/01/pdf/health_care_jobs.pdf

The second study is the one that I take biggest issue with so we will start there. Page 5 “The impact of healthcare reform on health insurance premiums”.

” National health care reform now being considered in Congress will help modernize American health care and will affect employer-provided health insurance premiums in several ways. To

gauge the consequences, we employ the estimates from David Cutler of Harvard University and Karen Davis and Kristof Stremikis of the Commonwealth Fund in the second study

examined in this paper, “Health System Impacts of Health Reform Proposals.”5

An initial impact of reform is savings associated with lower administrative expenses in insurance, especially for small- and medium-sized firms. Administrative costs range from

5 percent for the largest firms to 30 percent or more for small firms. The higher costs for these businesses are associated with the marketing, underwriting, and brokers’ fees

charged by health insurance companies. Creating health insurance exchanges is forecast to lead to significant reductions in these administrative expenses. Selective marketing

and individual underwriting will not be permitted in exchanges, and brokers’ fees should decline with greater competition. Cutler and his co-authors estimate that insurance

exchanges should lower average employer-paid premiums by about 2 percent.”

Ok first of let me say that when a broker of any kind looses half of his/her business, which will happen just as it did to numerous Mortgage brokers during the mortgage meltdown, they are not going to charge less for their services. They are going to most likely double their fee to make up for those other deals that they have lost the exchange. So to this I give a thumbs down and reverse that 2% DECREASE and say in my scenario that it will be more like a 2% INCREASE.

Add that to the estimated 2%-5% increase that Insurance Companies, Drug companies and medical device companies are going to throw your way because the government is going to tax these products more to pay for the New healthcare bill. What you didn’t think they would just eat that tax did you???? Well that was left out of this study, along with how many small tanning salons are going to be put out of business due to a 10%tax being put on them! This bill is going to hurt the middle class, small businesses and self-employed. Not to mention if you happen to be lucky enough to have great benefits then you better enjoy them because as soon as this bill passes I guarantee your employer will cut those benefits to not have to pay the tax that is being proposed on “Cadillac insurance”, this is the stupidest plan I have ever heard! Why not tax fast food??? There are no benefits to gain from eating it, causes diabetes, heart disease and obesity and everyone seems to eat the crap so why not tax that!

“The second impact of reform is to change the incentives in current payment systems, and thus encourage higher quality, lower cost care. Estimates show that large savings are possible in a number of areas of medicine,

among them:

• Reducing the number and cost of high-cost illnesses through better coordination of care

(for example, fewer people needing to be re-hospitalized after an initial hospitalization).

• Lowering unit prices of health care services that are more expensive in the United States

than in other developed countries (for example, operating rooms and scanners that are

run at less than full capacity).

• Streamlining excessive administrative costs that neither improve quality nor

patient satisfaction.

Aspects of the health reform legislation now before Congress that would promote more efficient care include bundling payments for different health care providers to encourage

practice of more coordinated care, increased use of pay-for-performance systems for providers rather than the pay-per-visit system used by most insurers, and greater funding to

support health care transitions, such as between hospitals and outpatient care, and for so-called medical homes, a primary care model that emphasizes coordinated care for the

patient. These reforms would initially be implemented within the Medicare program, but are expected to extend to privately insured patients as reforms take hold, as has happened

in the past.6”

Now I do tend to agree with this excerpt, as Case Management is increasing its visibility in the Government arena it can help reduce taxpayer’s costs. When someone has a chronic illness they have no idea what to do so a case manager can come and explain their disease and help them through this time of confusion. This tends to keep down medical re-admissions because a case manager is checking up on the patient frequently and advising them and talking with their doctor. It also cuts down on overdoses and medical error when you have someone that has a critical illness they may have many, many, different doctors and a case manager is there to coordinate with each one.

“Other aspects of reform will affect premiums by influencing the generosity of benefits. Some small firms will pay more for insurance because the quality of the coverage they offer

will increase. Most firms, however, offer relatively generous benefits and thus would not be greatly affected. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that health care reform will

increase premiums at small firms by zero to 3 percent.8

The reform legislation also includes an excise tax on employer-sponsored health plans offering more generous benefits, so-called “Cadillac”

plans. CBO estimates that this excise tax will reduce premiums for small and large employers by 9 percent to 12 percent. Overall, these changes

in benefit generosity will reduce premiums for employers. In this report, however, we focus on the modernization aspects of the reform

and do not include the employment effects of reform that stem from changes in benefit generosity.”

These statements together are an oxymoron. Ok so on one side you want to influence generosity of employers for increasing their insurance benefits to their employers, but then you also want to tax these so Called Cadillac health plans that are more generous???? This makes no sense at all. First why are you punishing employers who ALREADY offer their employees great benefits? This is going to either do two things: When the government taxes these types of plans the employer is either going to drop that kind of coverage to its employees to avoid the tax or lay people off to cover the tax. My bet is that benefits will be reduced for employees so thank the federal government when your great benefits get reduces to mediocre ones!

Now moving on to page 9, The “Impact of health care reform on number of jobs”, Study. In this section they are estimating ONLY 80,000 lost jobs????? I thought the point here was to gain jobs???

“In addition, some firms will be affected by the “pay-or-play” requirements for employers. These requirements mandate that firms with 50 or more employees that do not offer insurance coverage—

and in the case of the Senate bill have people who receive a subsidy in the exchange—pay fines ranging from $750 to $3,000 per worker.

We estimate that these requirements will reduce the number of jobs by about 80,000. Yet most of this reduction in employment would be offset by an increase in spending associated with providing

coverage to the 30 plus million currently uninsured Americans who would become insured by the legislation.”

This study is a joke. Waxman and his cohorts are giving this Study to the American people as a bone to chew on. The problem is that ALL of us are not blind to what is going on. This study is worth no more than the paper I shredded this morning, in fact it should be shredded itself.

This also just shows, how Congress thinks we know no better and they can feed us any kind of crap they want and they will still run the show. When are they going to realize that they work for us? If you agree that YOU are not stupid and you get what I am trying to say here, then please leave a comment telling your Senator and Representatives that they can count you out!

VOTE! THIS IS TOO IMPORTANT TO LET IT GO BY (OR BYE, BYE)!

Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require Representatives and Senators to take the same healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and sign his petition (very simple – just first, last and email). I have immediately done just that at:

Please urge as many people as you can to do the same! If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congressmen should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families

Die, Old People! : The Final Solution to the Health-Care Problem

Written by Don Kates July 29, 2009

An Obama promise you can believe in: He will keep America youthful − because government-run health care will eliminate the old. The rationale for this is obvious, especially to the bureaucrats whom universal health care puts in charge of eliminating “unnecessarily costly” health care. One unfortunate fact is evident to every bureaucrat: Old people are a “surplus population” we can best bid good-bye.

On the one hand, they are disproportionate consumers of health care services − and the most expensive services; on the other, they work less and so produce LESS TAX REVENUE. It is true that they ONCE provided tax revenue that, among other things, supported bureaucrats’ salaries. But no longer. If they pay taxes at all, it is less than they cost in medical services. In short, for health-care bureaucrats, old people are a net loss. That is what is implicit in Obama’s pronouncements that Medicare − a program that cares for old people − is an expensive “failure”: it prolongs the “useless,” disproportionately expensive lives of old people.

Fortunately, the solution is at hand: Why is it that per capita so many fewer Canadians or Britons than Americans survive cancer? Because Canada and Britain have universal health care − in which bureaucrats cull the elderly in various ways, including denying them the disproportionately expensive medical services and medicines which prolong their “useless” lives, instead of allowing them to die − each death being a cost savings to the whole society.

Note the vital cost-saving element which inheres in EVERY current universal health-care proposal: eliminate Medicare, which is enormously costly and serves only those over 65 − the “surplus population.” For Medicare, substitute universal health care with cost containment − by substituting cost-conscious bureaucrats for doctors. Three mechanisms by which this can be accomplished are already clear − largely from the experience of the Canadian and British health-care systems, which Obama says inspire him.

The first solution to the elderly problem is set out in a little-noticed provision of the 1000-page House bill which Obama is pushing. Older patients are to receive “counseling.” In other words: “You’ve lived a good life; 65 years is long enough; now die!” From the bureaucrats’ point of view, every elderly person who can be convinced to cut costs by no longer living is a benefit for the universal health-care system.

The second solution implicit in universal health care, as so well illustrated by Obama’s vaunted Canadian system, is endless lines with people waiting up to a year for crucial treatment. Example: An old person needs medicine or an operation within 10 weeks. So put him in a year-long waiting line. Problem solved, at minimum cost. Note this isn’t even called rationing. Insofar as Obama’s bureaucrats will ever overtly discuss this solution, they will call it “orderly processing.” Insofar as the first two don’t solve the problem, turn to the third solution.

[The Final Solution.] It involves inserting bureaucrats into the system to apply cost-benefit analysis to the provision of medical services. Some such services are very expensive. Their cost outweighs the benefit of extending life beyond age 65 for the “surplus population.” So no services. You may wonder whether such analysis properly applies to a population that will (theoretically) include Obama himself and his hordes of legislators and bureaucrats. Not to worry, however. The vaunted Canadian model provides a solution.

Canada has TWO systems. The one for ordinary people is the one with the endless waiting, doctors who are worked to death, and slipshod medical service. For Canadian bureaucrats and politicians, there is a wholly separate system with no waiting and no rationing. [The current Obama plan has a similar exemption for politicians.]

How about Obama’s claims that his program will reduce burgeoning costs? That involves two claims, one false and the other highly misleading. The false claim is that the preventive medicine he extols will reduce costs. Preventive medicine competently applied will extend life. But, as discussed above, this increases cost − not decreases it. It means more elderly will live longer, thereby increasing medical costs. Again, to deal with the problem of extended life, sick old people will be stuck in lines until they die. And for those who survive that, there will be culling of the surplus by bureaucrats decreeing that services to old people are not “cost-effective.” The misleading claim is based on the fact that all medical care will be subject to cost caps imposed by the bureaucrats. This will indeed cut costs − but only in the short term. The long term effect will be that here − as in Canada − fewer and fewer young people will go into medicine. Just what we need: ever more services provided by ever fewer doctors.

An Obama future you can believe in. All you need to be convinced is to look at how the Canadian and British systems actually work. Lest there be any doubt, I am not suggesting that Obama is deliberately conspiring against old people. What I am talking about is the inevitable result of replacing a system in which doctors “inefficiently” serve individuals with a system that allocates medical care according to the “rational priorities” determined by bureaucrats. And what about Obama’s assurances to the contrary? Are they worth anything more than his prior assurances: That his $700 billion stimulus plan would keep unemployment below 8%? (It is now 9.5% and rising.) That he would abide by campaign spending limits? (McCain did; Obama didn’t.) That he never heard his beloved pastor’s ravings against white people and Jews? [Twenty years of sleeping in church?] Etc., etc., etc.

Don Kates is an attorney and former law professor. He was active in the civil-rights movement and is a leading advocate of the Second Amendment. ●

Editor’s Note: America lost 405,399 dead in World War II. We did not spend all that blood to defeat Nazism over there, only to adopt Nazi ideas over here. The notion of “life unworthy of life” is totally foreign to us. The idea that the elderly and the disabled are a “drain on the Fatherland” should have no place in our thinking. But as John O’Sullivan observed, “In Europe, the fascists goose-stepped; in America, they jog.” We are slowly accepting Nazi ideas presented not by stern-faced men in uniforms, but by smiling men in casual clothes. The Nazis actively murdered those who were no longer economically useful to the state, while we will passively allow them to die. But the end result will be similar.

You’re crazy if you think that a society can survive if it aborts its babies, the source of the next generation, and it kills its elderly, the source of wisdom. And you’re even crazier if you think that a society like that deserves to survive. In stark contrast to ObamaCare as described by Don Kates, consider the words of Vice President Hubert Humphrey: The moral test of government is how it treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the aged; and those in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped If this sounds more like the America you know, phone and e-mail your senators and representatives.

This is a debate I had with a liberal on facebook. I just wanted to show an example of what OFAMA critics are facing in trying to even make a point with facts or common sense to the left wing nut jobs that defend EVERYTHING OFAMA does. It seems even when they are proved wrong they just wanna play the “I know you are but what am I game”. It really is sad that it seems that these people do not understand that the whole point of debate is to enlighten yourself and others and if you disagree with statisitcs and facts thed you should look them up for yourself instead of running your mouth off the top of your head because you think you are right and the other person is wrong. Nothing makes me more livid as someone who has a fact in front of their face yet refuses to look it up on their own because it might prove them wrong!

The following arguement started from a story that was posted on an aquaintence of mines facebook page. The article was about Palin being investigated for violating ethics laws. This is not the exact article but it gives background on the story and is similar to the one that was being argued about.

http://news.aol.com/article/palin-ethics-probe/581975

Here is how the debate wednt down:

Richard: Hello, she (PALIN) knew this was coming, so she quit

Valerie Emmons : Omg…you people need to quit worrying bout palin and worry about what obama is doing to our country! seiously we are about to get screwed by govt on healthcare and you are still nit picking about someone that is not ever gointo be president or head ofthe republican party…focus people …focus on the important stuff at hand. However the … Read Moreinvestigator did agree with and suggest that lawmakers set up afund to reimburse public officials for legal expenses. Clinton made a deal with ofama to get her debt paid, former countrywide ceo is getting his legal fees paid by Bank of America on mortgage fraud allegations…prob where BOA bailout money is going, what crime is there in having others willingly and knowingly pay your debt???
If your not afraid check out my article on healthcare and the Emmanuel broters in the OFAMA regime…please dont argue until you read the article…then hit me with what you got.

Valerie Emmons:

Kathryn: YOU may have a problem with Obama but I don’t, so I don’t need to focus on that. And again, you can’t sit here and say that you are ‘smarter’ than everyone because you ‘woke up’ and seen the light …. I am close to an MBA in Communications and all of these debates … are a matter of opinion … I would never, ever tell someone they are stupid for… Read More believing what they believe in. I’ll say it again … I am 35 and my morals, values, beliefs, and convictions didn’t just happen overnight … or when Obama became President.

Valerie Emmons: I never said anyone was stupid…i said i wish people would open their minds to new ideas…thats the problem when people hear facts and still deny them, because they dont want to admit that they may be wrong and change their opinions…because they like someone. And realy you dont have issues with the things I pointed out in my article?? Wow … Read Morethats some crazy stuff on there that we should be outraged about it. Page 16 in the new healthcare bill will make it illegal for ins agents to sell health insurance..thought they were gonna make it an option????.how many more jobs will be lost there? This is a joke that the American are falling for these lies that are being told by this administration, just as it was when bush lied about Iraq!

Richard: Palin is a crook, Bush was a crook, Cheney is a criminal and all Republicans are in the game for what they can gain for themselves. At least President Obama is trying to restore the middle class and help all Americans.
Obama has done more for our nation in 7 months that Bush did in 8 years, Wait a minute, Bush did nothing in 8 years. I wish that … Read Morethese people who are bashing Obama would open their minds to new ideas not stay mirred in the ideas and policies of the past 8 corrupt years. Obama is right on with what he is trying to accomplish and doing a terrific job doing it!

Kathryn: How do you know people haven’t opened their minds to new ideas? And maybe they just prefer Obama and his policies? All of this is just a matter of opinion … non of it’s fact. The fact is, actually, nobody can predict the outcome of universal health care, or these stimulus packages. But I do know that personally, I have been so pissed off for the last 8 years that I am game for anything …. because ‘anything’ can probably fix what Bush/Cheney destroyed in a mere 8 long, disasterous years.

Valerie Emmons : See that is the mentality…anything is better…but its not…just becasue bush screwed everything up so bad does not give obama a free pass to make it worse. And Richard can you point out which of these things you think obama has done for our country…just looking to open my mind to new ideas that maybe i have not come across…because … Read Moreeverything that I read and know is that this shit isnt getting any better andd it wont at the rate we are going. the things tyhat are being put in place are destructive to our country…jsut in a different way than bush did…but the economy is not bush fault…clinton deregulation of the banks is the reason for the collapse. Why you think they are trying to regulate it again? The thing is that most banks have stopped their shady lending practices because they lost money. Obama talking about vanilla loan products and making them the opnly thing one can get is a joke…banks are doing 95% fixed rate laons now…the market has already corrected.

Valerie Emmons : But i suppose you will giver obama credit for doing that even though for the last year thats been the norm.

Richard: Valerie learn how to spell or use spell check and you can make your points clearer. DUH Obama has restored the world’s opinion of the US, he has put reponsible people in responsible positions/Bush used nepotism/ and put puppets in those positions. It was the Republican Congress under Clinton that pushed deregulation. It was also Reagan who fired … Read Moreall the Air Controllers that cost the unions a great deal.
Obama is not making things worse it is the obstructionist republicans that are causing the problem and confusing the American people. I use the example of those noneffective Tea Parties, please what a joke. I did not capitalize republicans since they are no longer a party but a bunch of wimpering losers. Things take time to work, look it took Bush 8 years to fuck up everything. The housing market has had three good months, the stock market has stabalized and the Cap and Trade Bill will restore environmental problems. So like I said before Obama has promised and has delivered.

Valerie Emmons: um its called a typo richard…is that all you got? Really, has he now…whose opinion has he restored?? just azking for facts here..and responsible people that dont want to treat dimentia patients or want 18-25 yr olds to serve in a civil service…and responsible people who dont know when to pay their own taxes….nepotism is putting your … Read Morefamily in a job..not your buddies and really because Rhaum and Eziekial Emmanuel are brothers one is chief of staff and the other is writing obamas healthcare plan….so ur wrong there…AGAIN. Clinton could have vetoed the bills but he chose to side with ACORN on this, any bank that did not make crappy loans were put on a list for all to see making them appear not community oriented…as is still true today…look it up! And your right things take time to work took ten years for Clintons shit bills to deystroy our economy..i will agree here. But the things Obama is putting in place are not going to help.

Valerie Emmons: The housing market getting a lil better because now fannie and freddie are making SUBPRIME loans on the tax payer dime….look for defaults on these loans in the near future……This is my job…dont tell me the biz is getting better because its not!

Richard: It is clear that Valerie thinks she is right but I know that I am right. The bottom line is that the republicans have been banished I hope for the next forty years and I hope it doesn’t take the Democrats that long to clean up the Bush shit pile. I disagree with you view on the housing market and so does the stock market. I can give you alot more … Read Morebut if all that you got is typo do not waste my time. I have a MA in History and post-doctoral work and that tells me that it has been the Democratic Party that has always had to come in and clean up after the Republicans. I used nepotism because that’s how Bush considered and treated his cronies( like good ole Brownie of Katrina fame). So if it’s facts that you want I’
ll bury you in them like Obama did to McCain in November. The people of the US spoke loud and clear in November and you should realize and accept that.It was Bush that started the bailouts and Obama had to come in and give them framework, but I don’t think you can accept that.

Valerie Emmons : Richard do you even do your own research or do you just pop off at the mouth because you think you are right? Again nepotism is not hiring your buddy for a job…Aparently you failed to learn how to use a dictionary while persuing your MA in history…which makes you an economic expert I assume. The housing sector is not getting better…OFAMA’s … Read Moreplan to help with foreclosures was supposed to have helped 5Million people by now…has only helped 50,000…you want to know why? Because if someone is in foreclosure then their credit is well below the minimun guidelines set forth by OFAMA’s plan thats supposed to help them refinance their home…the other 4,950,000 in forclosure right now do not qualify. Again this administration does not know how to handle this mess…the people that OFAMA has hired in is administration are all his buddies and most of them have caused this collapse themselves….look that up before you come back with some lame “Well bush did this comment”.

Valerie Emmons: I always give you facts and you never give me one….prove me wrong with facts…there you might come across the truth for yourself.

Richard: Valerie, Valerie it’s clear that you can’t read. I said Bush hired his buddies as if he was using nepotism because he treated them all like relatives. Please don’t make comments that only show your ignorance. And for the use of a dictionary, I suggest you learn to use one. You are totally wrong with your statistics, but most like your ilk read from… Read More a playbook that is only designed to continue to bash Obama and his policies. You have given me no, zip, nada any facts that I haven’t heard from watching the likes of Fox News. I never said I was an economic expert but just selling houses does not make you an expert either, so give me a fucking break. I will go back to the fact, had not that war criminal got us involved into 2 wars, all that money would have not been WASTED and the economy might be in a different place. It is very obvious that you are still drinking that vile kool aid that the reugnican party is still serving up to its members.
Learn the truth yourself!

Valerie Emmons: Oh my god…i proved you were wrong and you come up with this sad excuse for the reason you used nepotism…how bout just saying oooppsie I was wrong….that is my whole point in the above arguement…no one ever wants to admit when they are wrong about something. Really richard then wht are the statistics….back up your comments with facts…… Read Moredont just tell me Im wrong…prove it! I read this shit everyday from the Labor board of statistics…fannie and freddie statistics come to me everyday in my email…not on Fox as you suspect. And I dont sell houses richard…i give loans for the house genius, and yes that does make me an expert…do you know how to close a loan and write up the paperwork and help people fix their credit? Do you know how to even calculate a mortgage payment or mortgage insurance….do you know how to set up an escrow account…do you know how to submit a loan to citibank for a client that has a 618 credit score? Well you cant has to be a 620 to qualify.

Valerie Emmons: I also have a degree in Broadcasting and just shy a few credits for completing one in Political science, richard…i think you should take a journalism class so you know how to do some rsearch. I also think you are a rude left wing nut job who is afraid to admit when he is wrong…..at least Kathryn and I can agree to disaree and I believe if she were ever wrong she would be the type to admit it…but you are just too far gone.
